Our itinerary in British Columbia

An exclusive expedition in the wilderness, supported by a Team Abyss guide and a Canadian team with solid experience of the Vancouver Island area. Extraordinary underwater fauna is found in these cool waters.
Due to the "non typical" character of this dive destination, the dive sites are rarely visited and the feeling of exclusivity during this voyage is total.

Itinerary

  • Stage1 : Vancouver (1 night)
    Greeting at the airport and transfer by bus to the town centre. Check in at the Pacific Palissade Hotel situated on South Beach. You can take advantage of the spa, wine bar, restaurant and shopping district of Robinson Street. Free evening.
     
  • Stage2 : Port Hardy (1 night)
    Transfer to the airport for a morning flight to Port Hardy. Please note the baggage weights are limited to 20 kg on this flight (excess baggage charges C$ 20 per kilo). Arrival at Port Hardy. Transfer to the port. The possibility exists to hire dive equipment and buy drinks or other articles before leaving for Hurst Island. Crossing by boat (approx. 45 minutes) followed by Resort check in.
     
  • Stage3 : Queen Charlotte (5 nights)
    Here we will explore the most beautiful dive sites to the North of Queen Charlotte straits. With 2 to 3 dives per day (depending on weather conditions) by boat, you will discover the fauna and cool waters of the Pacific Ocean. The possibility of a night dive exists in front of the Resort.
     
  • Stage4 : Last day (1 night)
    You have a choice as to how you want to spend your last day. You can continue diving or you can choose one of the following excursions (instead of the diving). A half day of whale watching by boat (at no extra charge) or a half day of kayaking with a guide (extra cost of C$ 45 per person).
     
  • Stage5 : Vancouver (1 night)
    After breakfast, we depart by boat for Port Hardy. Return of hired dive gear, transfer to the airport and flight to Vancouver. Transfer by bus to the town centre, check in at the Pacific Palissade Hotel followed by a final evening under the Canadian skies. Free evening.
     
  • Stage6 : Return (1 night)
    Transfer to the airport for your connecting flights.
