Our itinerary in Komodo

The combination of both a cruise and an island resort stay, is the perfect formula to discover the majority of the most beautiful sites of the Komodo National Park. This gives us the opportunity to enjoy the pleasure of a liveaboard, but also to experience the charm of an isolated island resort.

The first part of the safari is a liveaboard charter departing from Bali with a duration of 7 nights. 2 to 3 days of navigation, with 2 to 3 dives per day while travelling, are required to make landfall in Komodo. Once on site, we will spend 4 days exploring both the South and the West of the island.

The second part of the safari comprises a stay of 4 nights on Angel Island to discover the Northern sector: 3 days of diving, with 2 to 3 dives per day plus land visits, will allow us to complete our adventure.

Itinerary

  • Stage1 : Bali (1 night)
    Arrival at Denpasar airport in Bali and greeting by your Abyss guide. Transfer to the Aston Inn Tuban in Sanur for 1 night. Free evening.
     
  • Stage2 : Cruise aboard the M/Y Aurora (7 nights)
    Boarding of the M/Y Aurora for a 8 days / 7 nights cruise. 3 days navigation is necessary to reach the National Park of Komodo. During the crossing, there will be 2 to 3 dives per day off Lombok, Sumbawa et Sangeang. Depending on the anchoring positions, land visits to the islands will be possible to encounter the local population. The following 4 days, diving South and West of Komodo National Park (on sites like The Valley or Cannibal Rock), as well as land visits in search of the dragons.
     
  • Stage3 : Angel Island (4 nights)
    Disembark from the vessel to Angel Island to spend 4 nights at the Angel Island Resort in twin share with full board, 3 days of diving by boat from the hotel, with 2 to 3 dives per day on the Northern side of the park on sites such as Crystal Rock, Castle Rock or Tatawa Kecil, plus an excursion to Rinca during our stay.
     
  • Stage4 : Bali (1 night)
    Transfer by boat to Flores and flight from Labuan Baio to Bali. Night at Aston Inn Tuban, free evening. The next morning, breakfast and transfer to the airport for international departures.
