Although most of our voyages are designed for experienced divers, some of them are perfectly adapted to family holidays with young kids or non divers. Please do not hesitate to contact us to find out the details and facilities offered on site so that we can guarantee the comfort and supervision of your children/family. Please find below the destinations we recommend for families with all the advantages:

- Visayas Safari in the Philippines : The Visayas is outside the zone affected by malaria. There is no anti malaria treatment or specific vaccinations necessary. All our partner hotels have three bed rooms or communicating double rooms. Cots can also be provided as well as babysitting services (at extra charge). On request, we can organise a person who will take care of your children while you dive, on land or on board. Parents can also alternate their dives and take care of their kids in turn, on land and on board. If a nap is necessary, our bangkas are equipped with a comfortable cabin with bunk beds. There are Philippino kids playing on every beach! Contact and interaction is usually very fast and games unifying. The food is very healthy, varied and with no risk in the Visayas. All kinds of food are available and your kids will be delighted to taste, amongst other food, excellent mangoes, bananas and pineapples. If your children are comfortable in the water, there are a lot of snorkelling sites in the Visayas : reefs close to shore, hardly any current and loads of multicoloured fish and coral to observe. From 10 years old, we can organise diving for kids and have them obtain their Junior PADI Open Water plus guide and supervise them during the safari. Please contact us for more information.

- Cruise in the Maldives : For families who like to spend their holidays on boats, the Soleil proposes 2 triple cabins to accommodate parents with children. There is no necessary vaccination or specific treatment necessary for the Maldives. Although most of the time will be spent on board, it is however possible to be taken to some uninhabited island s or a fishing village for a little walk, meet some Maldivian children, enjoy the beach and do some snorkelling. On board, board games, fishing with the crew, a large saloon with TV and DVD will occupy your children in the quieter hours of the day. From 10 years of age and during the entire cruise, we can organise some diving for your children on protected dive sites with special guiding and supervision.

- Practical information : We don’t generally recommend going on remote diving voyages with kids under the age of 5. From 5 years old, a child will handle the long flight better, adapt easier to a tropical climate, not be affected by different lifestyle conditions and appreciate the travel experience to a larger extent, so she/he will have unforgettable memories. Please foresee very high protection sun screen (apply every 2 hours and/or after each swim), a hat, sun glasses with anti UV lenses. Snorkelling sessions should be done with a T-Shirt or a rash shirt. Please ensure your child drinks a lot of water. Fresh drinking water will always be available on board. Make sure to take enough with you when going on land/island excursions. Although most hotels are equipped with flyscreens, we still recommend taking a travel flyscreen (and some insect repellent).
