Our dive boats have been exclusively chartered for our clients for the entire season. They have been chosen based on the quality, comfort, security and conviviality. Our Team Abyss guides and our Maldivian crew live permanently on the vessels and are there to ensure the smooth operation of your cruise. Each boat is accompanied by a "diving-dhoni", a locally built wooden boat, equipped with compressors, dive storage areas and sun protected seats. Their shallow draft and practicality provide great flexibility for each of our dive excursions. In addition and importantly these "diving-dhonis" are distanced from the main vessel during tank filling sessions to avoid the annoying sound of compressors during your cruise.
Launched in 2006, the Manta Cruise**** is a comfortable dive vessel of 33 meters in length, a beam of 9 meters with modern lines. Equipped with a 365 hp engine her cruising speed is between 9 and 12 knots. She welcomes 18 passengers on board in 9 cabins (2 suites more spacious on the upper deck with double beds). The other cabins offer 2 single beds side by side (4 of these offer the possibility to connect the two individual beds and create a double bed). All cabins have a private ensuite with hot water and individual AC. Completely air conditioned the Manta Cruise**** has 2 generators 24/24, 2 desalinators, a huge saloon with TV and dining room, a large aft deck with tables for meals, 2 sundecks with sun lounges and sufficient shaded areas. The accompanying "dive-dhoni" is entirely equipped with 2 compressors, GPS, telephone, medical oxygen and storage for individual material. Nitrox diving is available on request and as an option.
