Palau

Reefs and Wrecks - Liveaboard

Rising from the abyss of the Pacific Ocean between the Federated States of Micronesia, Papua New Guinea and the Archipelago of the Philippines, the beauty and underwater riches of the Palau Islands have fascinated mankind for over 3000 years.

Badeldoab, Koror, Peleliu and Angaur are the 4 main islands, yet the archipeligo is made up of around 300 Islands and Islets offering a very unusual topography: rocky pinnacles, elongated islands surrounding lakes, and labyrinths of vegetated walls and cliffs. The most well known are the Rock Islands, a National Park where we will guide you on an exploration by kayak.

The Palau Lagoon is a renowned dive site due to the diversity and quality of the sites. Magestic drop offs patrolled by large numbers of pelagics (Blue Corner, Turtle Wall, Ngemelis) plus a large number of wrecks dating from the second world war (over 50 with 16 being accessible), 1300 species of fish and 700 magnificent species of coral, underwater caves (Blue Hole, Chandelier Cave) and lakes of jellyfish. None of the dives seem to be similar and even the most hardened diver will find total underwater joy.

During our 2 exclusive 10 day programs, with 7 nights on a liveaboard cruise, Team Abyss offers an itinerary combining myth and wilderness. Exceptional dives which have created the great reputation of the archipelago.
